ChrisTutorials.com is delivered through Cloudflare. Like other web infrastructure providers, Cloudflare processes network and request information needed to deliver, secure, and operate the site.

The site also uses Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for aggregate site analytics. GA4 can collect information such as pages viewed, referral source, browser and device information, approximate location, and site interactions such as clicks on purchase or support links. The site does not intentionally send names, email addresses, or other directly identifying information to GA4.

Analytics choices

Where applicable law requires prior consent for analytics, analytics stays disabled until you choose to allow it. In regions where prior opt-in is not required, analytics may be enabled by default, subject to applicable privacy and opt-out rights.

You can review or change your analytics choice at any time with the Cookie settingscontrol in the site footer. Rejecting analytics does not block access to any page, documentation, plugin information, or course link.

Cookies and local storage

A small first-party consent preference may be stored so the site can remember your privacy choice. When analytics is permitted, Google Analytics may use identifiers such as the _ga cookie to distinguish browsers and sessions. Analytics storage is not used when analytics consent is denied.

Why analytics is used

Analytics is used to understand which pages and documentation are useful, how visitors find the site, and whether links to products and support platforms are effective. It is not used on this site to build advertising profiles or to serve personalized advertising.

Retention and privacy settings

Google Analytics applies the retention controls configured for the site's GA4 property to user-level and event-level data. Standard aggregated reports may be retained differently by Google. Advertising personalization and user-provided data collection are not part of this site's intended analytics setup.

This site links to third-party services including YouTube, itch.io, Patreon, Ko-fi, Udemy, Skillshare, and X. Once you follow a link to another service, that service's own privacy policy and settings apply.
